Get ready, Leisure World! A new force for positive change is taking flight right here in our community. We're thrilled to announce the formation of the Rotary Club of Leisure World, a dynamic group of residents dedicated to making a difference locally and globally.
Rotary International is a global network of over 1.4 million individuals who unite to take action and create lasting change. From eradicating polio to providing clean water and supporting education, Rotary members around the world embody the motto "Service Above Self." Now, Leisure World residents have a dedicated chapter right in their backyard, offering a unique opportunity to connect with neighbors, contribute to meaningful projects, and experience the rewards of giving back.
The Rotary Club of Leisure World aims to bring together residents who share a passion for community service and a desire to make a tangible impact. We'll be focusing on food insecurity, supporting local food banks, mentoring youth, providing coats for those in need, and installing AEDs in publicly available areas. These initiatives will provide opportunities for members to engage in hands-on projects, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships.
But the Rotary Club of Leisure World is more than just service. It's about fellowship, connection, and building a stronger community within Leisure World. We'll be hosting regular meetings featuring engaging speakers, lively discussions, and opportunities to connect with fellow residents.
